New York, Platinum Card Style

Last weekend, I was fortunate enough to be hosted by American Express on a trip to New York City. The purpose was to demonstrate the travel benefits of their Platinum Card. Although I was familiar with many of these benefits, it is entirely different for a journalist to experience something as opposed to learning about it from afar. These experiences included a stay at New York's Peninsula hotel, (which is part of American Express's Fine Hotels And Resorts collection), a private card member dinner reception followed a screening of a premier at the Tribeca Film Festival. We also had a chance to take in a fantastic Broadway show, The Best Man with a truly superlative cast.

Of course, as a credit card expert, one of the professional highlights of this trip was the chance to meet with several of the executives from American Express who make these experiences possible for their card members.
